Report of Tohoku-Pacific Ocean Earthquake

On March 11, the Tohoku Region in northeastern Japan was struck by the Tohoku Pacific Earthquake, a 9.0 quake, the biggest earthquake in 120 years in the history of Japan.

Greater Nagoya Initiative Center would like to offer our deepest condolences to the persons affected by this catastrophe.

We also hope and pray that the people in troubled area will be able to return to their normal lives quickly and that the region will recover quickly.

We have received so many messages of concern and encouragement from our friends and colleagues in various countries, and we are most grateful for all the support that we have been shown.
