Noritake Garden Introduces World’s Largest Ceramic Group

In 1904, Nippon Toki Gomei Kaisha (currently NORITAKE CO., LIMITED.) was established by the founders of the Morimura Group. The Morimura Group has its roots as a pioneer of the Japanese trading industry. Morimura Bros., Inc., the core of the Morimura Group, was established in 1876. Later, the sanitary ware division of this company was spun off to form Toyo Toki Co., Ltd. (currently TOTO Ltd.), and the insulator division was spun off to establish Nihon Gaishi Co., Ltd. (currently NGK Insulators, Ltd.). This was followed by the founding of Okura Toen (currently Okura Art China, Inc.), NGK Spark Plug Co., Ltd. (spun off from the spark plug division of NGK Insulators, Ltd.), Kyoritsu Genryo Co., Ltd. (currently KCM Corporation Co., Ltd.) and other companies to create the world’s largest ceramic group. Over many years, the group grew and developed technology in the ceramic field.

Noritake Garden introduces three zones: the Culture Zone, where you can discover culture, the Commercial Zone, a place to enjoy daily living, and the Historical Zone, a place to experience history. An industrial tour in various languages is available.
