The radiation in Greater Nagoya region due to the Great
East Japan earthquake is discussed in this article.

Concern has been expressed about possible radioactive
contamination of Japanese products due to the Fukushima I Nuclear Power
Plants accident caused by Greater East Japan earthquake. The
government of Japan has announced radiation measurements taken
in each prefecture, which are given in the links below. These
measurements show that the radiation levels in the Greater
Nagoya area (Aichi, Gifu, Mie prefecture, which includes
Nagoya-city) are well within the normal variation for this
area.

Greater Nagoya is supplied by the Chubu Electric Power
Co., Inc., and the company is providing reliable electricity
without any effect of the earthquake and manufacturing
operations in the Greater Nagoya area continue to operate
normally.

2. News: Mitsubishi Aircraft
Corporation Establishes a Sales Company in EU

Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation announced that the company
established a locally incorporated, solely-owned subsidiary in

largest market for regional jet aircraft, following the United

2008.

The market for regional jets with less than 100 seats is
big in Europe since the continent has a lot of demand for
regional transportation to fly between European countries.

The company determined that a location for sales, public
relations, and information gathering in the area is necessary.
It will also promote the sales to the Middle East and Africa
where the market expansion is expected as well.

The Europe Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation is a wholly
owned subsidiary of the Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation, and
with a capital investment of 500,000 Euro (about 60 million
