Among the more well known are the so-called Tokugawa Shitenno or “four heavenly generals” (Sakai Tadatsugu, Honda Tadakatsu, Ii Naomasa and Sakakibara Yasumasa) and members of the Kagedoshin. “Ieyasu’s Warriors of the Aoi Crest” brings nine such Warring-States period heroes back to life, to inspire our troubled times.
