About Mission

 

Since 2009, Greater Nagoya Initiative (GNI) has sent a mission to the International Paris Air Show, which is held every odd year, and the Farnborough International Airshow (UK), held in even-numbered years, the world’s two largest aviation shows.

At the International Paris air show, the GNI promoted the Greater Nagoya region and provided information about the region’s aerospace industry as well as enhance our global network and conducting the business matchings.

The GNI visited two key business development related organizations; Bretagne International in Rennes and EMC2 cluster in Nantes. Especially EMC2 Cluster is the center of development of advanced composite material in France. GNI visited it to exchange views and build relationships with research institutes and understand the cluster of local companies.
