Overview of Event to be held

In collaboration with entities such as Basque Trade and Investment, the Greater Nagoya Initiative Center plans to hold the “Inter-regional Forum 2021 (Basque Country – Greater Nagoya),” an online business matching event for businesses in the Greater Nagoya and Basque Country.

Separate business matching events are planned for businesses in Basque Country:
“Introduction to the Appeal of the Greater Nagoya” and “Short Presentations by Businesses in the Greater Nagoya.”

With the focus on the automotive industry, Basque Country is home to a wide diversity of companies in industries such as aircraft and machine tool manufacturing.
More than half the automotive components in Spain are manufactured in Basque Country, making it a region with a strong affinity with the Greater Nagoya, the leading manufacturing area in Japan.

The event aims to create new innovations by promoting collaboration among businesses in the two regions.
