World-class freshwater aquarium, located in Water Eco Park next to Kawashima PA Highway Oasis. Focus is on world freshwater fish and the Nagara River, one of the three Kiso rivers. There are about 28,500 different types of marine life in the aquarium.
GIFU WORLD FRESHWATER AQUARIUM displays fish and animals that inhabit fresh water in the local Gifu area and around the world. We also provide a number of learning programs. (Appointment necessary for group programs.)
